Fuel pressure regulator question
I have removed the CFI system, and installed a carb. I ordered a regulator, just in and out type, will this work ok? I'm wasn't sure if I needed a regulator that has a return port or not. I been looking through the threads, but haven't really found an answer.

Yeah man if you're using the in tank electric pump you need a return style regulator. There's no way around it if you're still using that pump. A lot of us (myself included) use the Mallory 4309. It's very easy to install and use and <$100. You'll find plenty of info on the whole process that you're doing on this site

Re: Fuel pressure regulator question
One other thing that you probably know already, don't forget about switching distributors if you haven't already done so. You need to switch to a vacuum advance style because the computer won't be advancing timing anymore with the old distributor. The car will still run, but you will be robbing yourself of gas mileage, power, etc. You probably have already done this but it gets asked so much on here that I figured I'd save you the trouble if you didn't already know.

Re: Fuel pressure regulator question
I didn't realize it at first, but after reading the threads on the site I realized I needed the other distributor and ordered one. I really appreciate the follow up and the extra help you provided thanks again.
