Cold air induction

Am a new member on here and have just bought my first Camaro..
just been wondering about cold air feed to the card with the hoods being so low on are camaros.. has any one made there own cold air feed?

here's what i came up with:



my car was a V6 car that i swapped over to a 305. i used the V6 air inlet without filters in it and with all the baffled and what not cut out, and it feeds to a stock 305 Camaro air cleaner housing with a snorkel from a late 70's Chevy something or other riveted to the front, with the stock snorkel coming out of the side of the air cleaner removed and the hole blocked. it gets enough cold air to the carb to make the carb cold enough to be extremely cold to the touch on 100 degree days..
