Is this a good dwell meter to buy?

Just trying to get some tools together for a tune up with the car - (see side bar) this spring ...this tachometer from harbor freight should help with proper carburetor tuning , right?

Thanks!

If you're looking for accuracy, I wouldn't use this Harbor Freight POS. This coming from a guy who does buy stuff at HF.

It should be fine. The one I used for a couple of decades wasn't as sophisticated as this one is.

Re: Is this a good dwell meter to buy?

I purchased this rather retro-looking Actron CP7605 at Sears for about the same price:
Amazon Amazon

Easy to use but pretty much a single function tool. I then purchased a used Autoxray OBD1 and 2 scanner off ebay and got multiple cable ends for it. Allowed me to easily monitor the MCS dwell and TPS settings among other things though the ALDL port on my L69. OBDII plug works on all my other cars as a bonus.
