Re: RETURN LINE

You will need a regulator since most carbs run 5-7 lbs pressure, I had two pumps fail running a non return regulator due to too much back pressure burning them up. A return style regulator can be picked up in the $40 range, Well worth the price in my book......

Re: RETURN LINE

Get the right regulator. It will use the return line. You will not be happy with a regulator that doesn't have a return.

Do I need to change the 5/16 line to 3/8 to fit the regulator or just buy a fitting to go from 5/16 to 3/8 or can I use the 3/8 vent line by welding a extention tube to it an use it. Thanks.

Re: RETURN LINE

I have decided to go with a Holley mech. pump an no regulator its a 12-327-11 goes from 6 to 8 lbs. 87 iroc carb.350. I also heard that Big End Performance makes these pumps for Holley. Does anyone know if this is true an how good are they? Any kind of input on my choice of pumps without return line? Thanks .
