Re: 305 carbed
Was this car originally a TPI car and switched to carb or is this an original LG4 car?
Local scrap yard is a good source for the stock stuff, ECM, harness, TPI manifold (upper & lower), runners, fuel rail and MAP/MAF sensors. Just need the fuel injectors, ECM PROM from a 305. Here in NKy we have a few "Pull-n-Pay" car lots and at least once a month a car with a TPI system comes in. The 3rd gens last about 3 month here as they get picked through pretty quick and then get crushed. Especially if scrap prices go up.
Sometimes you can find this stuff here in the for sale section or on line on Ebay or Craig's List.
If the car was originally a TPI car then the fuel lines should already be there and hopefully the pump/sending unit as well.
