Update
The Carb has a fuel starvation problem, when I took apart the carb it did not have nearly enough fuel that's supposed to be in it. So going to finish the rebuild and, and if same issue just throw in a holley, and do things the right way.And take apart Fuel tank get it cleaned out, try to flush out lines for any clogs.

 

1987 has an electric low pressure pusher fuel pump in the gas tank in addition to the mechanical fuel pump on the engine block. If the electric pump or the relay for it has failed it can cause fuel starvation problems.

 

quads are easy to come by for free, i would try to get another one, drop it on, and see if it does the same thing (if you think it is fuel related). but to me it sounds like the coil or ign. mod. is going out ... they would often do that type of thing as they start to get warm (sounds like coil mostly)

 

I'm just going to rebuild the whole carb first clean it up, and than if still having issue just put in a new fuel pump and maybe even a whole new gas tank. We will see thanks for replies
