engine swap
engine swap
I have a 1985 z28 with the 305 carburetor which I recently swap to a 350 carburetor as well. I was wondering is there some kind of fuel pump in the tank cause I been hearing different things. thanks in advance

Re: engine swap
I'm pretty sure you don't have an in-tank pump.
My '86 that came with the LG4 (carbureted 305) doesn't have one.

Re: engine swap
The L69 should have had one (VIN G). An 85 with the LG4 could have had one installed by the dealer as a fix. Both still used the mech pump on the motor with the in-tank helper pump.
