intake swap
I recently installed an edelbrock 7501 performer air gap intake manifold in place of the weiand stealth. nothing else was changed. the car runs so poorly now it's almost not drivable. it's a 350 .40 over flat tops decked block .30 off the cast iron heads 292 .480 cam headers and 600 cfm edelbrock carb. i'm at a complete loss as to why it runs so bad. I've changed the jetting a couple times and haven't gained anything. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Re: intake swap
Apart from potential combo issues, main things I would be looking at, is installation malfunctions; gaskets that don't seal, hoses tha tleak, etc.

Re: intake swap
base timing is @ 10degrees. as foolish as it may be I think the problem was a faulty base gasket between carb and intake. I have never experienced that.
