CCC VS. non-CCC

Hello all,
I have n LG4 86 iroc, and I have the dumbest question? What do the CCC stand for, and what my car comes with?

Sorry but I am new to mid 80s third gen....

CCC stands for Computer Controlled Carburetor

Your car is a 86.

It's the computer-controlled version. (or at least, that's how it came... who knows what's been changed over the last 30-odd yrs)

If it has an electric connector at the top right of the carb and lower left front, it's computerized.

Take a picture and post it. The CCC like mentioned stands for Computer Controlled Carburetor

IIRC all carbs on GM engines starting in late 70's (like '79) through the mid 80's was CCC units.

Your factory carb would have been a Rochester Quadrajet 4ME carburetor (or also lettered as E4M, same thing)

you can see how the CCC carb looks. In my pictures notice the blue plug on top pass side and brown plug on front driver side... If yours has those plugs it's a CCC. If no plugs then it's not a CCC and has been converted
