Carb clean
Carb clean
Hey my names Anthony and I've just started on my project car a 1992 camaro rs and it had been parked for a few years, I threw in a new battery and cranked it and it turned on but gave out right away. I've heard the gas only goes to the carb and not into the engine but my question is, is how I can get the gunk out of the fuel lines and the carb

you can add some seafoam or other injection cleaner into the gas tank to help clear the system out. It may not be a bad idea to drain the old gas from the tank and lines. IF your car is stock then it should be TBI not carbed.

1992 RS V8 had TBI from the factory. Has your car been converted to carburetor?
Re: Carb clean
Yeah my bad it's tbi, I recently dropped the tank and ordered a new one with a fuel pump. I want to clean out the lines as well and I've heard sending a good amount of air through them can help. So all I do is throw on the new tank and pump and put a fuel system cleaner ?
