my secondarys are really tight on my Q-jet. when you push on them they are hard to get open. i think what happened was that i used lock tight on the air cleaner stud. i think the lock tight dripped down and caused it the freeze up a little bit. any suggestions on cleaning it or any meathod on getting to work freely again would be great. thanks alot.

do the secondaries loosen up as th engine warms up? if so that's normal, to keep you from getting wot when th eng. is cold. if not, might try popping the top off the carb and soaking it in carb cleaner, which would be a great time to "overhaul" the carb, and see if it will remove the loc-tite.
