Re: is there room!

I think you have a problem. That Performer RPM manifold has a flange for a square bore carb, and a Rochester QJet carb is spreadbore. If you were planning to use the adapter, I doubt your hood will close. Plus you will most likely need a spacer for your air cleaner also.
If I have assumed correctly, then you should exchange that manifold for the regular Performer 2101.

Re: is there room!

Ah yes, the Performer RPM Spreadbore. Better choice.
Much better chance of closing your hood.

Re: is there room!

Buy a drop base air cleaner assembly. You can use a 4 inch filter with it.

I've always thought about this intake.
I wonder how it compares to my Weiand 8000 in terms of performance. The Weiand 8000 has the same runner design as the Weiand Stealth 8016.

Re: is there room!

I LOVE Weiand STEALTH intakes. I have stocked up on them.
I call my 8000 a "Baby Stealth".

Re: is there room!

The cool thing is the Weiand 8000 has bigger exit ports than the 8016. Matches up pretty good to my 200cc RHS heads.
And with the 8000 I have a mock EGR showing, and it fits under my hood with a dual snorkel air cleaner.
