Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.08?
Quadrajet l69 305.

Hey everyone i have a 84 z28 it has a quadrajet carb and it runs too rich i was told i have to punch out the two plugs in the front of the carb to adjust the air/fuel it also has headers with no o2 sensor i was wondering if i could reflash the cpu and adjust the air/fuel from the computer if anyone has ever had any luck with this please let me know thanks

Are you still using the CCC QJet carb?
If so, what you have been told WILL NOT WORK.
Without the O2 sensor, the ECM has no idea how to control the carb - and the distributor advance.
You either have to get the complete CCC system running again,
or abandon computer control completely and use a manual carb and distributor.
You also have to find a way to control the TCC torque converter lockup.

Sounds like it would be easier to get a bung welded into the header pipe or header and put in a new O2 sensor. good luck with repair.
