I installed my freshly rebuilt E4ME Quadrajet on my Camaro LT yesterday. As soon as the fuel bowl filled with gas, the car fired right up. The check engine light never came back on as it had been doing this for years. The last time my car ran this great was when I first got it in the early 90's. The only thing I had to do was adjust the idle screw which was easy.
Sean Murphy is the go to man for rebuilds in my opinion. He is honest, straight to the point, and an expert in his field. As he is busy with quality rebuilds, I did have to be patient and waited over 6 weeks to get my carburetor back. You need to plan ahead if this is your daily driver which for me, it was not. I got the Stage 2 rebuild (details on his website). I am local so I was able to drop it off and pick at his shop. Otherwise, it's ship it to him and he will ship back.
Prior to the rebuild, Sean does ask for you to provide complete details of the car on which the carb is going to be installed on. That way, it will be properly tuned to run for its application. Like for me, I have the stock factory cam, but a performance exhaust along with larger wheels and tires.
All in all, I highly recommend Sean Murphy Induction. I considered for a minute that bolt on fuel injection kit for carbureted cars, but after this experience with my rebuild, that expensive idea went out the door.

Re: Sean Murphy Induction
Took my car out on Sunday for a good shakedown after the carb installation. It ran far better than my expectations. A Honda Civic did try to race me. I didn't bother.

He's still one of the few that can make a CC quad work on modified engines. I learned the hard way that if the CCC is working correctly and the carb is tuned appropriately, there's little to know difference swapping out to a 750 vacuum and mechanical distributor on anything making less than 500HP. I spent about $500 dollars swapping out the CCC and gained nothing except a lighter wallet.
