Won't work without ECM and the comp controlled distributor. It also controls the TQ converter in the tranny and that should not be a problem.
The only thing I'm not sure about is the catalytic converter. I think as long as you keep your O2 sensor everything should work fine. The smog pump can be yanked and I'm sure the cat can be too. Wait for clarification though.
