1982 Camaro 2.8l v6

I have a 2.8l v6 and I’m in the process of restoring it, only has 27k miles on the entirety of the vehicle.

I have serviced the engine and the brakes. She cranks up and runs, but only wants to idle when warm. When she is warm there is no misfire or anything, she runs smooth but sometimes sputters when hammering the gas.

It has a Rochester 2bbl E2SE carb on there, and I am not familiar at all with this carburetors with the electrical plug ins and all that. I replaced the fuel filter and know the accelerator pump is working, fixed the vacuum lines and blocked off the ones that I don’t know where they go. While the car idles I unplugged the connectors and it changed nothing with the way the car runs

i feel like the electric choke isn’t working

can someone who knows more about this help me understand why she doesn’t want to idle until warm?

any vacuum diagrams and parts catalogs or websites that you can tell me about to help me find parts will work too

Here is your vacuum diagram, sorry for wavy screenshot. If any of the stuff in the diagram has been deleted ("Fixed the vacuum lines and blocked off the ones that I don't know where they go") it's all gotta be put back for it to run right, there are no optional parts when your dealing with a computer controlled carb. The ECM (computer) does all of it's adjusting to the carb's fuel trims and ignition timing with the presumption that all of it's factory built parts are in place. The more of the parts are missing due to someone thinking they're improving things by deleting /all that useless Emissions crap\ , the more likely it is gonna run like crap, with the poor ECM befuddled by the strange doings and messed up or missing signals it's getting in response to it's attempt to control the carb.
