Need a throttle/tv cable & bracket that don't cost a million dollars. Lokar makes a gr8 one but $328 for 2 cables and a bracket is just ludicrous. I posted this in the "general engine" area, but maybe that was the wrong area. Can some ppl help me? I can't be the only person that has faced this problem

 

Are you replacing OE cables or did you do a swap? engine, carb or what? Why do you need new cables?

 

The lokar bracket only accepts their own cables. Unless you or someone can point me in a better direction than the the lokar tcb-40hs1 bracket. As u know the sniper is quite a bit wider than a square bore carb and the traditional throttle brackets don't sit out far enough for proper alignment of the throttle and tv cables. I've done a bunch of looking for cheaper alternatives but still have found the lokar bracket as the best aligning bracket out there. Please inform me if there's another one out there that I don't know about. Or even if a different name brand cable that will fit.

This was a simple v6 to sbc swap. I had a 6oo holley and now have a sniper unit. Thx

I use this with my factory cable $20 on amazon and fits my sniper

I used a Sniper extension lever and had to file the bracket a little. When I was done I hit it with a little trim black paint
