Old Holley's and Fuel Leaks?????
i am gwetting a pair of old holley 600's from a friend on the cheap. they are a bit beat and i was wondering what i need to rebuild or freshen the bodies to stop fuel fromn leaking out the throttle shafts? is there a kit or something i need to buy? it looks like it is just a solid bearing of some sort. has anyone ever runinto this or knwo where i cna look for info?

Fuel doesn't leak out of the throttle shafts; there's vacuum there when the car is running. That's not an issue.
A Holley that has been run and then allowed to sit up dry for more than a week or 2 will leak every time. The gaskets shrink and expose all kinds of passages; there's no telling how bad the car will run, if at all. Rebuild any old Holley before you put it on a car.
