Ive got a 91 camaro rs and im building a 383 stroker thats .60 over for it. Im planning on going carbureted for all the obvious reasons ( the tbi i have right now is a piece of junk). What i was just wondering was what you guys think is the biggest cam i can use with a stock stall conventer. Im looking at a cam from summit that is a 465 intake to 488 exhuast. Im figuring that the cam should start pulling around 2000 rpm. Id appreciate any feedback anyone has, thanks

 

Competition Cams XE 262 or equivalant is the most you should go with. It is 218@.050
