I just changed out my Quadrajunk 4 barrel and replaced it w\ an edelbrock perforer 600 cfm, but with the new carb, there isn't enough room for my egr valve, it hits on the side of the carb and does'nt allow the carb to seat. Is it OK to block off the egr port on my intake ?? Just what are the pros and cons of doing this. Thanx in advance for all replies.

 

Go ahead, assuming you don't need it to pass a visual emissions inspection in your state or anything. . You can get a blockoff plate from summit for ~ $8 I think it was.

Oh yeah, and don't forget to replace the distributer with a non cc model too.
