Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Read, study, understand, read it all over again.
Actually, you MUST have access to real carb dip-type cleaner and compressed air. Without those, you're wasting your time.
Read through the instructions with the kit completely before starting. A good Holley tuning/rebuild book wouldn't hurt, either. You probably won't completely understand what it's trying to say until you actually start doing it, but it's best to try 1st, anyway. It's also nice to have someone nearby that has done it themselves.
Have a clean area to work where you can lay out the pieces in order as you disassemble. Perform everything exactly as the directions state unless you have an extremely good reason not to. Understand that kits typically cover more than one model, and that some things will not apply to yours.
