Quadrajet from the 305 to a 350?
Quadrajet from the 305 to a 350?
I have a computer controlled quadrajet from my old broken 305 that I am going to put on a new 350. The 350 only has 250hp and 304ftlbs. Will the old quadrajet supply enough fuel to the 350?

Your q-jet will work fine. You may need to adjust the idle speeds, and should tune the secondaries after you get the engine broken in, but other than that, it'll to the job.
For the ZZ4 conversion, the factory has you use your old q-jet with new secondary rods & hanger, and that engine has 350+ hp. That should say it all right there. As a matter of fact, if you have an automatic tranny, you might consider that conversion if your budget can handle it. It's a sweet kit, has everything you need including instructions.
To add to that, the electronic q-jet has flow capability that exceeds the rating of the Edelbrock I have on my 396. It's a very versatile carb.
