How many Turns from bottom should the MC solenoid adjustment screw be ?
Also, Where Can i order parts for the E4ME ?
My jets appeared to be quite Dirty and I would like to replace them, along with all new metering rods, But Im not entirely Sure where to source the new parts.
Also, Should I lube the ACC pump shaft with anything prior to reassembly ?
thanks.

1) the MC solenoid screw (lean stop)should be set at 1.304 inches. You need a special gauging tool available from Thexton tools. The procedure is as follows. To adjust the lean stop, place the gauging tool on the metering jet and under the soleniod plunger, then depress the plungerand turn the adjusting screw until the plunger bottoms against the lean stop and touches the top of the gauging tool simultaneously. Basically it is 1.304 inches from the metering jet to the plunger, when it is in the depressed position.
2) Only three places to get parts. Junkyard, Ebay, www.carbs.net/quadrajet.asp
3) see above, however things like gaskets, floats, solenoids can be had from Autozone, Napa, expressautoparts.com
4) None of my rebuild manuals/sources say to lube the ACC pump rod.

I got mine at Pep Boys, but I guess you can get them at any major parts place.
Ask for a Carburetor Mixture Metering kit. It came with the 1.304" lean stop guage mentioned above, and also the "shepherd's hook" which you will use to make a preliminary adjustment to the air bleed valve.

there are more places than that to get parts, and carbs.net looks way overpriced.
