Can this work?

I have the 330hp 350 crate engine, and I want to throw a T56 behind it. I have a 600cfm double-pumper. In the carb instructions, it says not to use it with an automatic overdrive transmission or "severe transmission damage will result". Since the T56 has an overdrive on it, can I still use my carb? Any advice on this would be much appreciated. Thanks

That only applies to an automatic transmission. I think.....

See what other people say before taking my word for it.

It has nothing to do with manual transmissions. If you get the linkage set-up correct, it will work on an auto as well.
