edelbrock carb 1406
has any of you had trouble with the choke taking too long to open? i heard that the connector on the choke likes to see +12vdc and that you have to bring the 12v from somewhere else such as the wiper supply. I guess there has been a little trouble with there being to low of a voltage or something that made a qjet work ok, but not an edelbrock. is this true??

On Ray Buck's website www.aros.net/~rbuck he has a tech article describing how to hook up the choke wire into the wiper circuit.
here is a direct link. http://www.aros.net/~rbuck/tech/chokwire.html
