TBI to CARB???
Have any of you guys heard of the Holley Systemax? I have an 88 Iroc 305TBI. Would this system Vastly Improve my car. Would I run at least 14.5 in the 1/4 miles with this package. the package comes with heads, intake, cam, valves. And Ill get a holley Carb. how would this do?

You could hit high 12's with a flat-top pistoned 350 shortblock, 650 Street Demon Carb, 3.73 gears, shift kit, 2400rpms Stall converter and traction if it's the 400HP kit I'm thinking of. You CANNOT PUT this on your 305 your will smack a valve right into the block. It's designed for a 4.00" bore engine, SBC.

About a month ago I was more or less in your situation. I was thinking of adding more power to my 86 Z28 which ofcoarse comes with a 305. I also want to beat those rustangs(which I have done with my 72 Nova). I decided against biulding up the 305 and went with a 383 but if I had stayed with the 305 I would have gone with heads and a cam swap right away. Later I would have moved to the rearend maybe 3.73's. I think with those mods you will beat most rustangs out there.
