I want to drop in a 350, but since they were only made in TPI and the 305 i am taking out is carburated i don't want to mess with too much wiring. What can be used from the 305 on the 350? fuel pump, distributer, fuel lines, possibly the intake manifold and the 305's carb.

I did the mod on an 84. You just unbolt the 305, yank it. Drop in the 350, drop in the dist. from the 305. Put a better intake on it and put your q-jet on it and then have fun. If it's a 5 speed do yourself a favor, go to a stand alone HEI and put a Holley 750 on it. That way you can do away with the computer and run a much hotter cam in it.
