i'm switching my 305HO to edelbrock carb and RPM intake, the problem is i can't figure out how the throttle cable lines up. was i supposed to get an adapter kit or seperate linkage kit with it? can you use the stock stuff? any help with this matter would really be appreciated.

is that the stock throttle cable setup? looks like it, but i'm not sure. and what did you do with the brake booster line? mine doesn't fit into my new carb

 

yes...stock throttle cable, but not the stock bracket...
got it at local parts store for about 12 bucks.
the vacuum is connected to the front of my Edelbrock carb which I have on now.
