Classified ad blunders

IT amazes me the amount of people who post ads like these:
" I need tailights for my 82" Or "a front clip, and ground effect kit for an 86? thats great, what hell type of car do you have??????? I see ads like this all the time. It blows my mind.

ALso
"I'm looking for a cheap 82-92 F-body, must be a 350, 5 speed, T-tops, and TPI. good condition prefered, must have no engine problems, immaculate paint, and a brand new interior."

yeah and I want a '69 Z28 DZ302 mint for ten bucks.

I love the always great "I need a front right caliper, or a carb rebuild kit. or a rotor and dist. cap." who in their right mind would buy this stuff used???? do you not have a parts store????

I'm sorry this **** just annoyes me. " I'm looking for a good T-5" the ad rambles on for awhile then at the very end of it "must be a world class T-5" the money a world class costs, why wouldn't you by a tremec??? lets face it, for other then stock applications, all t-5s are suck, world class t-5s are nothing to shake a stick at. A healthy 305 with pozi will destroy a t-5.

I'm sorry, I had to ramble this off somewhere.

LOL. I personally love the repsonses I get to some ads, usually from starion/conquest idiots - mostly from a lack of reading comprehension. I explicitly post in my ads that only the things listed and not marked as sold are availible for sale, and to not ask for anything that I do not have listed. Yet, some people insist on asking for those things that I've sold long long ago, or never had to begin with. It really boggles my mind...the trials and tribulations of buying/selling car parts - internet or not.

wow you must be having a bad day, but I'll debate

My friend had a 400hp, 12 second, 355ci firebird and what was it attached to? a WC T5, the engine blew before that tranny did.

and my posi 305 tpi 5 speed car has yat to see tranny problems, other than a cracked clutch fork.

so t5's in my opinion are underated. people want what everyone else is using. if you have a fat wallet, buy a tremec, if you need power you can afford, get a WC T5, or a T56 I got one for 150 bucks. and no rebuild was needed, not saying you might fidn a deal like this, but definatly an *** load cheaper than a tremec.

Ugh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed these--they're pretty frequent too.

I also love the ads that say "350 Corvette motor" for Camaros/Firebirds for sale like the Corvette is some magical car.

I like the way they disappear in my rear-view mirror.

OK, here's what I'm tired of reading: "Gauging interest in selling my car." The ads usually read, "I'm thinking about selling my car and I want to know if someone would be willing to pay $XXXX.00 blah blah blah..."

If these people were serious about selling their cars, they'd put them up for sale and find out if someone was willing to pay their price. Most of them just want to hear "yeah man you're car is worth $10,000 easy."

Quit wasting everyone's time and webspace. Sell it or don't sell it- but make up your mind.

T-5s......

I don't wann astart a big poll in the wrong board, but I guess t-5s arn't that bad. there is a reason the general wouldn't put one behind the L98 though.

and another thing, Irocs or GTAs are no where close to being as "rare" as some of their owners do. you can find them anywhere. Even if it only has 5k and in mint condition it ain't worth a ****. yeah its probably a 10 or 12 thousand dollar car, but who the hell would pay for it??? there isn't a strong enough following behind them. If I was going to spend 10k, it would be on a like a muscle car or a fourth gen. even if it was original lets not forget the car would be a turd!!! 14.5?? thats pathetic!!!! My point here is people are asking way tooo much for their cars. these people have to realize they have no value anymore. don't get me wrong I like them, I plan on buying another, but you can basically buy these cars in the bulk section at Topps!!

I second that 430T/A I have cash to buy but i'm not buyin holes in the floor and dented quarter panels. Also tweaked frames with junk *** wheels off another G.M. G-body do not make your f-body cool or worth more cash. People need to wise up. So what if i'm a stock ****?

My personal favorite is that every car that doesn't run and is under $500 will make a GREAT RACE CAR! yeah, a bare unibody is a great start for a race car... just add everything

That is so funny."I'm selling my project race car, I stripped it, and its ready for major mods, $500, or trade for good car"

This is what the seller is actually saying:

I bought a worthless parts car for 100 bucks and a 30 pack of Genny, I took everything useful off it, and almost made my money back. I thought I could sell some parts off it. I'm looking for some *** who will make up for my loss and pay me for this car. There is nothing good left on it, and has some minor rust, ok the floor is about gone. But it would be great for racing, seeing as how it is no longer structuraly intact. $500 for the car that aspires to be a racecar.....

jackasses.....
