Tony's a good kid; I've bought tons of stuff from him. Never had a problem. You just don't get lucky every time. I mean, ****, I'd be pissed to if I was out 175 bucks, and if I didnt know any better, I'd assume he's scamming. But Tony's not the kind of kid who'd do that. Just be patient and cut the kid a break

HE DID????

Since you seem to know that he already refunded my money maybe you could tell me where it is???

I have not received any refund!!!

I don't know where you get your info, if it was from Tony, it would be nice if he would tell me. I haven't heard from him in about a week.

you know it's kinda funny. i used to live in Oklahoma, and i have lots of Family in New York. everytime i would send something to them, they'd get it in about 3 days. when i got something from them to me, it took like 2 weeks. it was consistent EVERYTIME! very strange. i think that maybe usps is your cluprit here about the long wait for your refund.

It was actually NeedforSpeed that was dragging his feet. He had to ask for my address a few times, ask what I wanted to do after I already told him. I would give a week for usps. The rest of the time he was just stalling.

alright, i went back and read all the posts, and i'll agree with you on some things that he was draggin' his feet. now. with the way i read things, the reason why he was still askin' you what you wanted to do was cause he offered to refund your money via mail OR, if you came out there, he would refund your money and give you the heads, and anything else you wanted while you where there that he didn't need. if i had offered this to someone, i would want to know what they wanted to do cause the second deal seemed pretty frickin' sweet.

doesn't sound to me like he was trying to "dick" you or whatever the heck that means. it blows my mind when people get upset why they have to use dumb nouns like "dick" in the place of verbs.

Hows FU*K work?

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, in my opinion he was ripping me off! The deal started getting shady. When you say one thing and then completely change what you just told me you are lying.
If you lie once whats to say the next time you tell me something it is the truth. He lost my trust after he told me they shipped the first time, then a week later he tells me that they haven't.
c'mon I am sure you would feel the same way.

I sent him emails and they were unanswered...

I didn't hear from him again until I told him I was coming to MN on business, I think it shook him up.

$175 doesn't come too easy for me and when someeone is screwing around with money that I can use it pisses me off.

If he would have been straight up with me and said that he lost his job and can't ship them cheap anymore and asked if I wanted to pay the difference, I might of been inclined to do so.
Instead I got a story about how they were misplaced and he would refund my money. He never mentioned the difference in shipping cost until way past my aggrevation about my refund.

Honesty is still the best policy!!!

As far as I am concerned the case is closed, I got my refund and I stated so....

I just wanted to post this here to share my experience with this seller in order to help others out...

I know from what you went through I would NEVER consider buying anything from him in the future. I too would have been pissed if anyone had my money and I got nothing in return (even though you did get your refund weeks later). Hell, I'd be pissed if it was $1.75 let alone $175! The point is, you had a deal and he did not live up to his end. Live and Learn I suppose. You exhausted your options with him before posting here so it's not like you didn't try. It would have been different if you didn't contact him before posting this. I'm glad this forum is here to post experiences good or bad.

oh, i understand, but i also know NEEDforSPEED and i know he's a cool guy and that he wouldn't INTENTIONALLY rip someone off like your making it sound. he made a couple of mistakes. he's human. in the end, he made it right, even if it did take him longer than you thought it should have.

I don't know him...
I never met him...
This is the only experience I have ever had with him.
I have had a few people tell me he is a nice guy, but unfortunately, after this experience I feel he is not that "good" of a guy.

It is always great when people make it sound like it is your fault that a bad picture is painted of someone. I am not making false claims about this guy, I have posted our conversations. The writing is on the wall.
Everyone can form thier own opinion

I'm sure someone said something like that about the CEO's of Enron or even Dennis Radar (the BTK killer). My point is, I get a kick out of it when someone says, "I know that person would NEVER do that". The bottom line the only person you might know that wouldn't do something is yourself. You cannot say for sure someone would or would not do something. Now something like, "wow, that surprises me. I've dealt with him in the past and everything worked out for me" would be better.

FWIW, I do not know jonarotz but it's sad the way people seem to be holding something against him for this situation.
