I purchased some parts from Winger4800 and the payment cleared via PayPal on 2.21.06. I have not seen any parts yet and he is not replying to my e-mails. Does anyone have any experience with this member? I hate to doubt the guy but I sent him a significant amount of money and I am getting concerned.

Thanks!

I was supposed to make a transaction with him a while ago, but he was hard to get a hold of, and the price kept changing, also he kept trying to avoid using paypal, saying that he wasn't able to access his account multiple times on end.

eventually I went to contact him again, hoping his paypal woes were over, and he wouldn't respond.

I dunno, I can't vouch for or against him, but I'm starting to be glad I never sent him the money.

Update

Well, I still have not heard anything so I chose to involve my lawyer. He seemed relatively confident that he would be able to rectify the situation. So, worst case scenario I will be out the lawyers fee's.

I know this is drastic but this guy has a significant amount of my money and I have no parts.

So bottom line is that if someone screws you over there are options to recover your losses.

I will keep everyone updated on what I find out.

you can sue for lawyers fee's too, you know.

especially in small claims court, you could also sue for court charges, which is something like 106.50.

you might as well make him pay for screwing people over, I don't mean sue for like 1.8 million, but no costs should come out of your pocket to set this guy straight.

Lawyers Fee's

I am hoping that my lawyer will set things straight without having to go to court but you are right. If it does go to court I will make sure that I get every penny back; including the time it takes to travel up there.

I should know something by next week so I will let you guys know. Thanks for being supportive!

I just wanted to update everyone and tell them that the situation appears that it may be resolved. I received 1 of 3 items that I purchased and he sent me an email with a tracking number for the rest.

I will update everyone when I receive the rest of the parts but if everything comes as promised than this posting should probably be deleted.

The package is supposed to be here tomorrow, so I wil post the results when it gets here.

Okay, well you are correct. Deleting it would not be a good idea. I guess I am just happy that I am not going to lose my money. So, the posting should stay and I will post when I get the parts in.
