Board members, be very careful when dealing with Plasma-Sword
AKA: Jeremy Strickland.

I responded to a classified ad that Jeremy posted for a set of Pontiac GTA Style wheels. On 05.23.2006 we agreed on a price. I sent him via regular mail a money order that he received on 06.02.2006 Jeremy agreed to ship the wheels the day after he received payment and forward the UPS shipping numbers to me. After seven days and still no shipping numbers, I e-mailed him to check the status, he stated that he is out of town and his wife was to ship the wheels. Three more days pass and still no shipping numbers. I inform him that this is approaching mail fraud. That brings the response that he shipped to the wrong address. I think this is a lie, and still no tracking numbers. I wait another seven days, and still no shipping numbers, I am now at 14 days that he has had my money and he has still not shipped the wheels, I e-mail him that I am ready to submit forms to USPS for mail fraud. This brings an e-mail telling me to chill out, and he asks for a telephone number, so we can talk about this. He states that he will call at a certain time the next day, well next day and no call.

I am now at over 3 weeks and still no wheels.

I have filed forms with USPS mail fraud department and with The Internet Crime Complaint Center

I had better hopes for a sucessful transaction from a member of Thirdgen.org

 

I know Jeremy, he bought my dad's old white '92 RS. I'll have a talk with him and find out what's up.

Oh great, another n00b. My rep speaks for itself. The guy waits less than a few weeks, and all of a sudden 'ol Mr. Sword is a SCAMMER?!?! OH NO! I'm gonna runaway with his whole $350 to a foreign country and never return! bwahahaha! Grow up dude.

If you took the time to actually write a few nice paragraphs like what you did in that post, but to me instead in an email other then your normal sentence or two, then maybe you'd know me and a little more what I'm about, and that I have no interest in your wheels or your money. I got tired of UPS giving me the runaround so you I shipped your wheels DHL. A little more expensive but they should be there by the end of the week, there scheduled for a Thursday delivery.

Check the details of the email I sent you for tracking info and some more words. Happy wheelin'!

There's no reason for him to wait "a few weeks".If you have his money,those wheels should have shipped within a day or two.That's good buisness.I've sold several items from this board.2 things I always insist on doing is providing a tracking # and shipping within 2 days of payment.I also never deposit the money before the item is shipped.So instead of hollering "newb",maybe you should reveiw your selling habits.

They've shipped, end of story. Different people have different selling habits, just as well as some people will only buy from a certain type of seller, or only do a transaction their way (as in your case, which is fine). Everyone has different preferences. I've been doing online transactions for almost ten years now throughout various message boards and services such as eBay, so this one accidental mistake of thousands of my completed transactions isn't gonna scar me. I've always shipped my items out within 24 hours AFTER receiving payment, but as mentioned to the seller, UPS was giving me the runaround, and on top of that I'm sure you'd value someone's life a lot more then worrying about, "Gee, har har what do I gotta ship out today?!?!"

I'm sure he'll post up once he receives them. Transaction is between me and Mr. Henke. IF you feel the need to stick your rear end anymore in my business, I can give you my phone number as well. I don't do dates though.

As far as my rearend in YOUR buisness,this is a public forum.Had you conducted buisness in a proper fashion,it wouldn't be here now would it?
I don't lay awake at night worrying about what I have to ship.It's this simple,when a person recieves money from another person for agreed goods,the recipiant of that money then has a responsability to in turn give the buyer what he/she paid for,in a timely fashion.

All I was stating is that flaming someone who wants what they have paid for is a pretty sh*tty thing to do.

I'm glad you've shipped his wheels,at least we all know your not a crook,just slow.

 

His packages arrived, just doesn't have the common sense to post up I guess. Creates a false post when his wheels already shipped, then doesn't get back to my emails. Either way, this is over with now, thankfully.
