I got several parts from him. overall very happy. Got the wrong door locking rod, however. But I guess I wasn't clear enough on what I needed. He is a solid seller.
Trying to figure out how to leave an iTrader for him. Anyway: He lives in a state just north of me, I'm planning on taking a shopping list when I go visit. Bought a couple of lock pawls and smooth as silk transaction and shipping.
Can't say the same as all the others in this thread.
Bought some hush panel light covers from him in Jan. and that went smoothly and I was happy.
I messaged him again about a trunk trim panel (rear most panel that covers the trunk latch) I asked specifically for one that is in good condition, doesn't matter what color, and preferably one without the trunk light although one with would be fine too.
He sold me one that was same color as my interior, without the light for $80 shipped. So I thought I got a fair deal for the exact part I was looking for. Nope.
When it came in I opened it up and found that it was cut, exactly as if someone was trying to get that panel off due to a hatch that wouldn't open, to get access to the trunk latch.
What I got was in damaged condition. The exact opposite of what I specified.
When I contacted him about it, his response was "all of these panels I have are broken there in the same spot"
Okay, so you couldn't tell me that before I bought it? Also FWIW I've personally never seen one broken like that. But whatever it could still be a common issue.
Anyways, he said to send him a picture of it if I wanted to, and did so. His response?
"Cost about 37 to ship it too. Do you want me to send some money back like $15?" - verbatim from his text to me.
I chose to drop it because I have bigger things to currently worry about in life, and have been stewing on it since, because every time I go out to the garage, I have to walk right by that useless piece of damaged trim I bought from him.
I should just throw it away at this point.
Now, you might ask "But didn't you get pictures first?" the answer is no, and I accept my part of the blame here for not getting pictures before sending money to him.
But also, at what point do you stop and take a moment to say "Hey I know you asked for one in good condition, when I pulled it out of the car it wasn't as good as I remembered, do you still want it?"
Or say
"All the ones I have are broken"
or ask
"What do you consider to be 'in good condition'"
But it really threw me for a loop on his response, and I'm just done dealing with that BS situation.
If he has as many cars/parts as he says he does, then he's obviously selling parts as his side business or whatever else. Well IMO what I experienced was not very good business practice.
He won't be getting any more of my money.

Where you see a post from him (like in an ad), and you see his iTrader score, the actual score number (in my case, the number 8) is a hyperlink. Click on his, and you should be able to take it from there. Have the URL for his ad handy...you will need it.

Can also get to iTrader for anyone by clicking their username, and then "View iTrader Profile". Or open their profile, copy their user number from the URL, open any user's itrader profile, delete the user number from the URL and paste the user number of the buyer/seller you're looking to feedback, hit enter and you're in their profile.
I have bought part from him before, and I just received an NOS seatbelt. It was exactly what he said it was, and he shipped it out immediately. I have his number saved in my phone. I will definitely do business some more!
