Hiya, the owner before me took out the speakers in the rear and did not replace them, when I took off the back panel and right behind the speaker grill there doesn't appear to be anything to mount the speaker on... Also, I did a search only found some information on what speaker size you can get in back there, wasn't a clear answer... Thanks!

The rear speakers mount directly on the panels. Last year I replaced mine with some 6.5 inch round Pioneer speakers. I had to use some spacers between the speaker frame and the panel but installing them didn't require any cutting or other modifications.
