Update On New Poor Fitting Vert Top!!

Hey all, updating my previous post regarding my newly installed poorly fitting vert top on my 92 bird. Well, I did take it back to the installer after the 10 days he suggested that I wait. He originally told me that in 10 the top would shrink and the wrinkles would go away. This never happened, so on the 10th day I was back, and he agreed to re adjust the top. The problem areas of the top were all in the corners and on the edges. There were actually 4 trouble spots. I am somewhat happy to report that the adjustment of the top has improved the fit to a good degree, but it still is not completely right. Out of the 4 trouble spots, 2 of the worse areas were corrected to my satisfaction. The remaining problem areas are on both sides at the bottom corners. This is the section of the top that is closest to the rear bottom corner of the door windows. I was told that they tightened it as much as possible, yet the wrinkles are still there. Is anybody familiar with this problem. Will I have to accept that this is as good as it will get , or can anything else be done? As a temp solution, I stuck foam rubber in between the top and the headliner to pad the sag that I am getting on the corners. This does help a bit, but I would really like to get this top to fit as good as it really should . Well, in conclusion, the top is better, and I can live with it, but I cant help feeling that it is still not quite right. Any suggestions????
