ATTN Vert Owners... Check this spot on your car for rust.

Found some cancer while doing a restoration. Take a look at the pic and give me your thoughts. The pic doesnt really do it justice. The rust isnt all the way through the metal... But its close. The outter layer of sheetmetal is completely gone in some spots.

Is the weatherstriping for the top glued to that place? In other words, do you have to remove the rubber to check the status?

Yep.. Windsheild Header to top weatherstripping must be removed. Kinda a pain too.

Nope

Except the rear crash bar... But that is typical on these cars in my area.

Man. It hurts to see that. Scary. I'm afraid to look at my own car now. That seems impossible to fix.
