Need Trunk Pics
I just bought a plastic spare tire cover and locking 'glove box' for my '92 vert to replace the moulded carpet counterparts. The spare tire cover went on really well, but I'm having problems fitting the 'glove box'. The forward portion of the box isn't fitting very well and it is making the lid not close properly.
1. Anybody have pics of this?(Need to know relation of this piece and the trunk weatherstriping.)
2. Are there any other attachment points besides the two large screws that attach it to the center piece?
3. Any ideas on how to get a lock that will match my key? (No key included)
4. Does anybody sell prefabed sub boxes that will sit in the center section of the trunk. (My sub was mounted in a 1 ft square box that sat perfectly in the moulded carpet area and must now be moved.)
Thats all for now.
Thanks

Somewhere around '90-'91 they replaced the plastic pieces with moulded carpet. So, my car was never equiped with these pieces.
Here is a pic of the way the car looked without the locking box.

A locksmith should be able to re-key the new lock cylinder to fit your current key.
