From: O'Fallon, MO
Car: 1991 Z28 convertible built 3/1/1990
Engine: Cammed 6.0L LSX
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: custom Ford 8.8", 4.10 gears
Looks clean, but with the mileage it's not gonna get the $15,000 he's asking for.

I would think the car is realistcly worth around $8,000 to $11,000, it looks pretty good, interior is clean the paint looks good, but what bothers me is it appears to be a repaint. The repainting does not bother me but they painted the door handles, and the black trim pieces under the mirrors from what I can see, its not that clear in the photos. If it was painted correctly it would be worth more.

I didn't notice the painted handles, the guy said he would take 12000 for it
but with the miles and the possilbe repaint I was think 9000 to 10000

I guess one thing to consider is that its pretty "Rare" as far as 3rd gens go, there was less than 200 Firebird Convertibles with a a 350 Total, most owners cherish their cars because they know it has potential to become valuable. When you get into numbers below 200 for population for an entire 11 year production run, I think they will be a worthwhile an investment.

Right now 3rd gens are at the bottom and all they can do is go up, unless the economy tanks for 20 years and we end up in WW3...

Personally I suspect (and I hope) that they may have possibly the highest resale value in about 20 years and will compete with the Firehawk in desiarability, much like the early 70's Mopars that had similar low production.

They have the right stuff:
1) Convertible
2) Engine Displacement
3) Low Production
4) Good Looks

PLUS this car is on "The list" and therefore adds to the collectability.

The only thing that would be better is one of the 2 TTA Convertibles.

great looking car.. pretty hard to find... but i dun personally think its
worth anything like 15,000 with that kind of mileage...
maybe if it was a very rare 1 of like 50 built or somethin.

more power to him if he gets that kinda money for it tho lol

I'm only lookin for $4,500 for mine
