I was wondering... (scarry )

On top of the windshield where the top bolts down there is a lot of noise. Now, I expect the noise, but not sure if there should be this much.

Its only when I go over pot holes and it just sounds like its not tight enough. It sounds like metal is hitting metal.
Is there a way to insulate the two metal mating surfaces without affecting the way the top and windshield bond.

I know that subframe connnectors would most likely cure the problem, but for the time being there has to be something to help this situation out.
