I dont know where that is, all i know is that it says scott township, i looked it up on google and got a zip code and sis a map search and it came up just north of pittsburgh, and its listed on pittsburghs area listings. Should i go buy it if it's alright? I know i get that much in parts out of it alone. I'm sure i can get it for slightly less than the asking price.

I just got my email back now. I asked what motor and tranny were in it, but was told to call their number.

Re: 1989 Z Convertible, some1 save it

salvage title, was a theft recovery, they stole a bunch of parts off of it but never wrecked it. has tune port motor, but the car is in 1000 pieces. motor hasnt ran in 6 years. doesnt have front nose for it. interior is all gutted cause of water from roof. dont know what tranny. maight be a good donor car for my 1991 rs vert. could use a lot of pieces to build one sweet car.

cars located near century 3 mall.

Re: 1989 Z Convertible, some1 save it

After looking at the pix it does not look like a good parts car. Everything on it is missing. the grond effects, the tonneau cover, trunk lid, Interior, Everything is gone already... About the only thing that would have promise would be the engine and since thats not run in several years...

I would have a hard time parting with $250 to buy it...

Re: 1989 Z Convertible, some1 save it

only things mission is the front dose and ground effect parts. hes got the interior just its water damaged. its got just about all of the parts that arent shown, ground effects, trunk, tonneau cover..... I've seen the top frames on ebay for $1000.00

Everything for the car is taken apart, he said hes got 10 cars right now and really could care less if it sells or not. He wants to keep it, but would sell it. Kinda the same way i am with mine.

If i had the time and money, i would buy it and use what i could to make my 91 rs convertible nice once again. with a TPI motor.

the guy owns a body shop, he's dont some repainting under the hood, the inner fenders and firewall...I'm sure i would get my money back out of buying it, but i dont have the time.

Make a deal with ya if you do buy it.

All I want is the rolling chassis. you can have EVERYTHING else. I just want the chassis shell.

Re: 1989 Z Convertible, some1 save it

I wish i could buy it but i dont have the money, and i would be in need of the front rails and core support, which i would be better off getting from a coupe. I could use the hood and motor/tranny, but still don't have the time to mess with it, or get it home. and then i have nowhere to put it.

i would be nice if we could split the cost between a few of us and all get what we need.

TPI383- rolling chassis
Me- Hood, Motor, trans

+ whatever else is left. fenders, trunk lid, other little parts.
