Cool, looks like a nice car. The wheels give it a very old school muscle car look. Must be a cool feeling to have a car like that over there.

The older (late 60's - early 70's vintage appearance) muscle car looking wheels with white letter tires don't quit seem right, as well as the those white spoiler sticker thingies. But those aside, she is absolutely gorgeous!!! The black paint has a beutiful shine to it and the interior is really sweet too. I bet she's a real head turner!!!!

Welcome.

Re: 1992 Z28 CONVERTIBLE JUST PURCHASED

Thanks for all your feedback! The white things on the front spoiler are lights The wheels and tyres I think give it as you say a kind of muscle car apperance which I really like.I have Always liked these cars and am very happy with it.I wonder how many of the 92 Z28 Convertibles are still around after seeing how limited the run was.

Re: 1992 Z28 CONVERTIBLE JUST PURCHASED

Hey CHRIS LONDON:

How's the weather there in the UK? Top down about 12 days a year?

I would love to cruise and F-body where they are rarely seen. Too cool. What are your plans for the car? Need suggestions?

EDIT: That car looks like it rolled out of a hermetically sealed capsule or something.

That's a great looking car. How many kms/miles are on her? I'd love to own a camaro where they are rarely seen. I'm sure you will get a lot of good looks.

I love the touch-screen in the console. Very nice vert. Those British tags always look funny to me, though!

Very sharp. And I actually like the wheels on it. I don't care for the new pro-boring look that everybody is attempting with the oversized wheels.

Very clean and welcome to the boards.

Are the lights in the airdam required for driving in the uk?

Its your car, so put what ever rims you want on it

Re: 1992 Z28 CONVERTIBLE JUST PURCHASED

Im guessing that the wheels and lights in the airdam were done in the states as the car was first registered here in september 2005 and I am the third owner.Speedometer reads 44.000.Stereo is an Alpine W200RI with Dvd player.I have just ordered Alpine SPS-6939S 6x9s for the rear and a pair of INFINITY KAPPA 462.7CFP 4x6 for the front will be adding an Alpine swd 1600 sub to fit underneath the front seat.Tinting the windows and possibly chromining the engine

Thanks for your comments I was hoping that the swd 1600 which is made to go under the seats might fit!

Very nice clean car. Congratulations. She's a real head turner. As previously stated by others though I don't like that style wheel on a thirdgen. But it's not my car. I'm glad you like it so much and I wish you the best of luck with it.

That has to be the coolest thing to cruise around in. Very different from the other cars on the road in England for sure. I'll add your car to my registry of 92 Z28 convertibles. I had a very nice white, red leather, five speed car before my ex got it in the divorce.

Re: 1992 Z28 CONVERTIBLE JUST PURCHASED

Hi,
Very nice car. Your right you don't see many about in England. I'm an ex-pat now living in Texas. If you ever need parts for it speak to the guy's at American Autoparts. They are good guy's. When I moved over here I bought a 91 RS vert for everyday use. I've been very happy with it, I've now upgraded it to the Z28 spec. You'll have a lot of fun with it.
