Proper Adhesive?

I have a convertible top with glass rear window. A small section of the cloth top (about four inches) has separate from the glass (lower corner). I tried an adhesive the local car supply shop sold (not 3m). Worked for a few weeks and has now separated. Any adhesive recommendations?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Proper Adhesive?

When this happened to me I sought the same advice.

The best advice I got then and that I am passing on to you now - is to get a new top... (IMO)You can try all the adhesive you want, but all you will be doing is creating a mess and delaying the inevitable...

If there really is an adhesive capable of doing this and not making a mess I too would like to know about it.

Re: Proper Adhesive?

Thanks for the experience info. I tried 3m last night. Will see how that works. Since the opening is sealed from the inside, not worried about leaking. Really more cosmetic at this point (and I want to stop it from separating more).
