Rear Control Arm Bolts

Although I have not looked, and it might be obvious once I get down there... How do you remove the rear control arms that attach to the axel... The axel side is easy, but the body side with the SFC I cannot forsee as being an easy job...

ASC cut/tourched holes in there SFC's. The head of the bolt slides back into it, tilt the bolt, and pull it down and "back in".

I could not get ANY of my ratchets onto either end. Wrench city it was for me.

Re: Rear Control Arm Bolts

Its actually pretty easy to get them out. I needed a small breaker bar to get them loose, but after that they came out with no problem. I the bolts soak in PB blaster overnight and then wire wheeled them before reinstalling.

I did this with very little trouble... I used a breaker bar with about a 20" cheater. Worked like a charm.

Ratcheting open ends work really well in this app. If I remember right they are 18mm
