MAC SFC Question

Hi, I have an '88 vert and wanted to add some SFC's. I see a guy selling the MAC weld on units at a fair price. He says they will work with convertables. Any one have any experience with these? -Mike

Re: MAC SFC Question

my understanding is that you can fit any SFC on a vert except they have to cut out the floor to make it fit.

if you don't want to do that (who'd want to), go buy spohn. they have a convertible version that fits perfectly. thats what i have and its great! i'd say 80% of of my squeaks/rattles are gone.

Re: MAC SFC Question

the Macs are also another that supposedly fit without cuttings floors or anything. How fair is this fair price. Spohn's are good and also Alstons.
Spohn's $195 + 45 for red or black powdercoating
Alstons from TDS $184 with powdercoating. $9.25 for a bolt kit. If you are having a shop weld them. Macs seem to be a real big deal on the Canadian F Body board but I haven't heard anything on here.

Re: MAC SFC Question

MAC's are on ebay, $144 shipped ! ! ! I have Alston's on my white T-Top Iroc and I love them. The MAC's don't seem to be as nice but the price is right. Ah, What to do ???????
