Re: convert engine size question...

The 350 WAS NA on the Convertibles, the only exception would be if you could order a T-top 350 car and have it drop shipped to ASC to be made into a Convertible.

Your car has a 33 in the VIN, the first 3 is the "Convertible" the second 3 is the Air Bag. CArs with a 23 are Coupes.

You answered your own question. A 350 was never a factory option in any 3rd gen vert. Buyers beware. Many are advertised as such due to either lying or ignorant owners. Some have even had the badges swapped to say 5.7L! Only an extreme few have had the engine swapped by an owner to a 350. And the ONLY way to verify if that's true is by decoding the block's casting number.
Never take the word of the seller!!! I believe it was Ronald Reagen who said, "Trust, but verify!".
