stock sfc
done some searching in the threads... came up without an answer. has anyone tried stisch welding their stock sfc's? if so, did any good come of it?

I guess no one's ever tried it. I don't know why, it seems like it would be worth while. I'm thinking about doing this and putting in a couple of small bars (like spohns y-bars) from the ASC reinforcements, to the alston sfc's.
Does anyone know if you can see the front of the ASC stuff where if meets up with the firewall once you take off the fenders? Can you see the outer seam once you take off the rocker gfx? I would think that if you could weld the front up, along with stitch welding all the way down both sides it would make a HUGE difference. I'm just not that impressed with the Alstons alone, and am looking to improve the chassis without adding another set of sfc's or a cage.

looks like we're thinking along the same lines. i put on a set of alston's a while back and the handling inproved alot, but it still twists on eneven and bumpy roads. i'm not sere about the GFX, it looks like there's some adhesive holding mine on... should there be?
