Transmission: 700R4

Axle/Gears: 2.73

Sub-Frame connectors on a 1987 Z-28 Convertible

I am restoring a 1987 Z-28 Convertible. #11 of 13 that Willie has documented

. I want to install a set of sub-frame connectors. Do ya think this will be a deterrent for the car at a car show? I have a set on my 1992 Convertible and it's made all the difference in the world. I tried the bolt in on the 92, made things stiffer, but it still had flex issues. After I welded the sub-frame connectors, no more flex. So bolting the frame connectors in the 87 is not a option. Yes, I do want to drive the car as well as going to car shows.

So what to do ?

you may loose points for the SFC,
if they are just local shows and you dont compete, then go for it.

It would depend on the show, I know the TA nats they do not look under the car unless your tied for an award and they need to go deeper into your car than normal judging.
