Need help picking right top
How do identify the right top to buy? Is there a sticky of some sort maybe? I just bought a new top and I think it is not the right one because the window on my camaro is 44 inches where as the other is 41... Can I get some help please? I did a search but I can't find what the good keywords would be.
Also are the 4th gen retention cables the same as the 3rd gen? Mine are shot.

Too add to my problems, my dad threw out my other top. From what I know there are 2 possible tops for an 89? I have the one that doesn't fit but I don't know what to measure to get the right one!
Help me please before I have to send the wrong one back!!!

This is from the stickies
http://www.topsonline.com/index.php?...modelID=350000
I recommend the Stayfast cloth with glass rear window. Looks factory, you can tint the rear window, and no worry of it clouding up
Plus you can order new cables and the top 'pad' or insulation which my car didn't have
Good luck

Re: Need help picking right top
I called ASC and they said since I have the 89 Camaro it will be the late model top. Is this correct? If so which one is the late model? I am guessing the one I have cause someone bought the same top for same price and it supposedly fit a 91. I am guessing the 91 is considered a late model?
This is the top I bought:

My tops not on yet! I left my car there for 2 days and he still hadn't started on it so I put it back in my garage do to the ice storms we had today. As soon as the roads are clear I'll bring it back and he will defently put it right on this time(he feels bad) When he is done I will give you his number as he knows everything about this type of work and in a recommended Tops on line installer.
