SHOULD I BUY IT?

1991 Z28 camaro convertible 125,000 white grey leather original 305 auto
current condition:
needs new top carpet seats vents paint all weatherstripping and anything else rubber, car has been sitting for a while and is from the origanl owner in memphis,tn back to needs headlight something done with the wiring random interior panels rear spolier brakes all around rear lock/tumbler for trunk front chin spolier pass. side ground effects all four tires and there is probabaly more that i forgot but heres a link check out the first few pics the rest of them is of my 92 z for sale (check camaro's for sale) some input please seems like a solid project o yea also the motor is 1997 lt1 not bolted in nor known amount of miles on motor all this for

Well, certainly needs alot of work and parts. Maybe you should consider waiting and buying one that in better shape. Proably cheaper in the long run. These cars are not classics yet, should be able to pick one up at faily decent price. That sounds like a donor car.

thats what i was thinking but the body is soo clean and can probably be picked up for 800 but still it is a huge project or donor car like u said thanks for the input rideon1200

I would do it .. once I saw the Lt1 in there I said Oh yeah.. !

but from being the original owner how can you let your car get that way?? I would understand if it wen thru different owners

be prepaired to spend a lot of money getting it into the shape it deserves. looks like your going to need to replace a lot of stuff. and rebuild the engine for sure, im sure its going to need a stronger tranny, its going to be a long time before you will be able to enjoy it.

thats exactly what i was thinking but just wanted some input from others, not going to actually buy it but thought it would worth a thought because its a vert and these 91 92 z28s hold there value so much it might be worth it down the road. but i defiently agree with it needing a ton of money, to big of a project for me but has some potential

In the short term the LT1 may help it sell, in the long run it would not.

I would have a hard time buying it personally... JSUT because I know what goes into fixing up a car... $20K & counting
