What is the best way to clean the convertible top?
Best products? Do you wash it and get it very wet? I need to clean my top, but have never done this before. Thanks for any help.

There's no issue with getting the top wet. It happens when it rains after all. It's designed to resist water, although I wouldn't leave standing water on it.
I use a garden hose and simply spray mine, gently sweeping backing & forth allowing the water to carry the dust away. I would avoid using any harsh chemicals (never found I needed to). If you have a stubborn area, you can use a soft long haired brush to gently scrub and then rinse away. There are cleaners (http://www.autogeek.net/303fabcontop1.html) if you feel you need one for really stubborn places.
After washing the roof, I find they do dry suprisingly fast when parked in the sun. If you need to speed things up, you can use an absorbant lint free drying towel. I use mine by just laying it on the surface too draw the moisture out. I don't drag it accross the surface. I also move my top into different positions to dry under and around the seals (above the windshield, rear deck, etc). Be sure the door windows are down for this so nothing binds-up. Water can be sneaky and hide in these places. Especially around the main hinged area.
Be careful if you have the plastic rear window, it scatches easily. Don't ever wipe it with anything abrasive. Treat it kind'a like your paint. I use a soft 100% cotten towel on mine only to prevent water spots.
This is also a good time to treat all the seals with some silicone emulsion (available at your local GM dealer or decent auto store). It's nongreasy, works great and you just rub it in by hand.
Good luck. Summer's almost here!!!

I usually just wash with a garden hose, no soap or scrubbing.
I have used a vacuum cleaner with the apholstry brush also, I did that in the garage so no one could see me, I already get enough grief from the neighbors for cleaning under the hood.

I've got the tan canvas top with glass from Tops Online and there are a few black scuffs on it (from putting it down I suppose). No idea how to get those out so I live with them.
